Are you part of franchise ?
No, Shine Solutions is totally owned and operated by myself. I employ no one else, so all the work is carried out by myself.
What is the difference between Valeting and Detailing ?
Detailing is a more superior version of valeting, as a lot more time, care and attention is spent on the vehicle taking it to the highest level of presentation using the best quality products and techniques.
What do you need when you arrive to detail my car.
I carry my own filtered water, but i do require access to electricity. It would also be helpful if you have a large garage or carport for working on your vehicle should the need arise. A clear working area is also needed around the car. Please could you ensure all personal items are removed from the vehicle.
Are you insured ?
Yes. I have both public liability and accidental damage insurance whilst working on your car.
How can I pay ?
You can pay by cash, or a cheque with a guarantee card.
How long does the protection last ?
In most cases it is recommended that the protection is topped up every six months to give the vehicle the best possible protection. But much depends on the vehicles useage.
What is paint correction ?
Paintwork correction is the removal of imperfections in the clear coat/paint such as light scratches, swirlmarks, cobwebbing, and oxidation etc, using compounds and polishes to correct these imperfections so that the paintwork reflects light at all angles.

Will my car look like new when its been Detailed ?
This will much depends on the age and appearance of the vehicle, and what detail you require but I can guarantee it will be throughly cleaned and polished to bring out the full potential in the vehicles appearance, and will be well protected.
Your prices seem expensive ?
My prices are based on an hourly rate of £30. A lot of dealerships charge in excess of £75 +vat per hour for labour on servicing and repairs to your car. The quality of work carried out can add considerable value to the vehicles we work on, meaning the costs can be justified.
