The Paint Correction Detail
This labour intensive detail brings your car back to its as new condition by removing swirl marks, wash marring marks and other paintwork imperfections. A lot of the above issues occur due to poor cleaning and polishing techniques. The best way to remove these imperfections is by rotary machine polisher which takes time especially on hard paints as used by some manufactures like BMW. These imperfections are in the clear coat on the more modern cars and are removed using the rotary polisher and quality cutting and polishing compounds. This detail starts with the same procedure as the Enhancement Detail with paint correction taking place after the claying stage, with paint depth readings being taken to prevent damage to the paint surface, and then finished in the usual way as in the rest of the Gloss Enhancement Detail. Depending on your make of vehicle and severity of the damage to the paintwork, this service can take a lot of time, anything between 2 and 5 days, but this treatment cannot be rushed, so please be sure you can spare your car for this sort of time. Before booking your car in, I will visit you and discuss your requirements and assess the vehicle's paint to determine the amount of time required to carry out this treatment.
